I am replying to a PM and getting the following after I hit "Submit"

  1. <username> has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove <username> from the recipient list and send the message again.
I have removed the user's name to protect the innocent.

That means the member you want to PM has gone into his profile and chosen to disable PM messaging. There isn't much anyone can do about that.

So the member sends me a PM that asks a question, then disables his ability to receive a reply?

Sounds like this MEMBER is a TOOL (synonyms);)

You would be surprised at the number of members that do this. I always assume they have bad memories and forget they disabled PM.

I would like to know where you have to go in order to send a pm message

Thanks.
Click on the username (or search the username, then click) you would like to PM. You should then see the option to PM the user.
