What are the proper size of carb jets used in a 1980 GL1100i?

I don't know but here is a bump up.

140, 145 and 35..at least that's what's stamped on the bottoms..

I have the 145's in but gas milage is around 30 to 35 mpg. Seems low to me. What should I be getting on the average? Most of my milage is around town and not on the open road.

40-42 is best that most can get on the road...35 aroudn town isn't' too bad I would think 38 in town is about right..

I don't know if you have been using the Clymer manual, but on Randakk's site he says they have the numbers for the jets reversed. So if that's the case your milage would be low. And I would think it wouldn't run that snappy.,
