Hi there guy's & gal's i was looking at some carb kits on flebay (keyster/Sirius consolidated Inc)one kit has #145 mains & #38 slow jets,while the other have #145 mains & #35 slow
jets.Whats the difference between them.Reason i am wondering is i am going to replace float needle and seat to correct a very gas smelling rich condition,so while i am in there
would be a good time give it the full meal deal.Also i have aftermarket exaust,Jardens i think.document.write('/forums/images/emoticons/gl1100smilies/11grey.gif');

here is the bad news. If you buy jobber jets, your bike will run like crap! this has been reported over & over again by other members who have tried them.

Buy them from mother Honda if you want good quality!

Why do you think your are hooped?

These carbs do not need any changes for a jardene exhaust. If you are going to do carb work I strongly recommend Randakks kits.http://www.randakks.com/ As mentioned after market jets are notoriously problematic and jets should not need to be changed anyway. Scrub them good, hit all the passages with 120psi and some solvent of your choice. Replace all the rubber, replaceyour float seats and valves WITH OEM only, tripple check your float adjustments and ride with the wind!

Your rich condition may be due to float level. Mine was off very slightly and was really fouling one of the plugs and causing a bad miss.

Stick with randakk's master rebuild kit it has everything you need to rebuild the carbs the plemun seat, u shaped orings for sealing carbs to plenum, air cutoff's, and complete orings for the carbs. By time you get all this from fleebay your close to the cost of randall's master kit. Randall's kit are made of viton with is a better material than the kit's from fleebay. If this is you first carb rebuild get the video to go with it.
