So i was told my carbs were off a GL 1100 but when i got them they had the tops with the white in the middle and what looked like a accelerator pump on the back top of the carb rack.Sorta irritated cause i was waiting and come to find out they might be off a GL1000.

If they are off a 1000 is it possible to use them on the 1100 with small mods or whatever.

Bet the numbers will match up to being 1000 carbs. The white circle tops are a dead give-a-way.

Those sure sound like GL1000 carbs to me, the 1100s had the solid caps and the accelerator pump was on the #3 carb. I don't know if they can adapt to an 1100or not but I think they'd take a good bit of tinkering to make them work well.

They will bolt up but there are some differences between the two carbs & engines. Jetting & cam profiles for a start.
Some folks put the 1100 carbs on the 1000 but I haven't heard anybody doing the reverse.

Will it work. Yes. But work well, who knows.
