Soo.. thought i would share, I hope my ... um experience can help another.
went and bought me a set of syncpro carb sync sticks. got them all set up. read the instructions.. got that.. READ the instructions... (but did i follow them?) so anyway..
i get down to business and find that after my carb cleaning and rebuild, my carbs were way out of wack.. i spend about 30 minutes adjusting and getting the color exactly even ( wow these carbs are sensitive!) anyway. I'm buttoning everything up, feeling mighty good... and the second i take my screwdriver off of the last screw on the lower fairings, it sputters, cuts out,, starts running like crap! i check everything.. wires tight.. did i bump something? what.. so i dig out my screwdriver.. and just start adjusting.. get it to where it wont even run.. now i'm about ready to throw it out! what on earth could it be.. then here is where lesson one comes in.. the instructions say have at least 2 gallons of fuel in the tank... .. DOH .. by accident i looked at my fuel gauge and noticed it was in the red.. turned the fuel petcock, and then started alll over again.. readjusted..

MY BIKE NEVER RAN THIS GOOD! but please.. before adjusting make sure you have plenty of fuel! cost me an extra half hour, and i'm sure some hair !

fyi.. if anyone in phoenix area wants to borrow my sync stick .. let me know.

i'm definitely looking for a gremlin bell!

little bell to ward off all the mischievous gremlins! because only someone distracted by gremlins would miss the fuel thing.. and then also not pay attention to the instructions!
