this product needs a review,for those thinking of getting one,don't hesitate.
i used sticks and honda gages before to sync up the carbs and it was a chasing game,the carbmate made this job sooo easy.it took longer to switch the lines on the carbs than it did to set them up at 0.5cmhg.the honda gages were close but there was a bit of hesitation,now the idle is much smoother and the throttle response is crisp with no delay whatsoever.
so simple to use as well,power it up,set the calibration,hook up the reference carb line,then the other line to the carb to sync,dial in the carb until the center green led pulses with the vac of the carb.you're done.
proceed on to the next carb.i double checked the carbs when i was done and it was perfect after the first setting.it is quite sensitive at 0.5cmhg.
i will likely get the 4 carb adapter to make the process faster and easier in the future but it's not needed to do the job.
