Cargo Carrier

Hi Everyone,

I just got my Wing about two weeks ago and finally looked around for a forum to hook up with.

I searched for this but had no luck.

My wife and I we're riding over the weekend and wished we had a cargo carrier that can hook into our hitch just for a small cooler. Not a full blown trailer, but one of the carriers they make for cars that you can put some bags or coolers or just extra stuff that won't fit in the car.

Has anyone seen smaller versions for bikes?

Yes, I have a "cooler rack" that fits in my receiver hitch. You can find them for sale lots of places, even Ebay. There is a guy from Alabama that makes and sells those type, even ones to carry your golf clubs.

I'm not sure what your fab abilities are, but my welding skills are almost nonexistant. With that being said, I put together a "cooler rack" for my wing a couple of weeks ago for less than half of what a prefabbed one cost. It doesn't look half bad either, if I do say so myself. LOL!!!

Hello MikeInFla,

I have a cooler rack that replaces the receiver. Just pull the pin slide out the receiver, slide in the cooler rack and put the pin back in. So it doesn't take a wrench to remove it from the trailer hitch. They make them for vertical or horizontal hitches. The link is for the vertical kind.
