This weekend I was going over a few things on my 1985 Gl1200 Ltd. and I noticed that the volume level for the cassette player is very low. The radio volume is normal. Has anyone else ever experienced this problem and do you have a solution to it? Thanks in advance.

Don't forget to clean the tape head before adjusting. Some tape cleaner on a cotton bud is how I do it.

hey yukonhonda

some times the tape head rollers shift a bit from constant vibration when driving but there is usually a tiny adustment screw like on a regular stereo ( normally found between the rewind and play buttons ) if you find it you can adust it while playing a tape to get the best sound ,hope this helps.Eric:D

There are no external adjustments on this deck, but thats true for most "home" equipment. The GL radio is sealed to keep water out.
