Cassettes to use in 96 Aspencade?

What type of tapes work in the cassette deck? Is it designed for metal tapes? Or just high bias such as the TDK SAs or Maxell XLIIs? TIA.

(sorry - I wanted to resist typing this - but my Evil Twin is making me do it).

What are these Cassettes you speak of??? A primitive recording device?? Related to the 8-track??

I have one that looks like a plastic bit with two holes - goes to my iPod!! :)
