Hi,

Does anyone know if the mounting for the GL1800 and GL1500 CB antenna is the same.

I have been and purchased a set of armrests for my wing not realising that they mounted to the Antennas and am, therefore, in need of a cheap CB antenna so as not to make the LH one look out of place.

You don't need another antenna, there is a chrome cover plate available that botls through the left armrest and covers the holes where the CB aerial would be. You should ba able to get this cover from most aftermarket suppliers.

The mount is actually the same, so the filler piece for the left side will fit both models.

Spot on Ted. I had a spare chrome filler for a gl1500 and I gave it to BigAl for his 1800 and it fitted fine.
