I got Stuarts e-mail off the wingnut a while back. Here it is; [email protected]and if you tell him that you got the info off Steve Saunders site he tends to be more helpful as well.

I brought the J&M system for mine and while it was pricey it was worth thte money - worked straight out the box and no problems at all.

In real terms the JM setup is cheaper tha Stuarts deal, and you are getting a radio in the JM too (even though you will use the Honda radio on your Wing instead), and there is less messing about with interfaces with the JM kit.

Didn't Mick Chadwck rom Aspencade Specialists do an interface one time. Wasn't too dear either if I recall rightly.

What is involved with connecting the JM unit to an 1800 Gold wing ?

Is it simply a plug & play unit or does it involve some creative wiring ?

dont know about fitting the 1800 CB (cant find one on the J & M site) but to fit the one for the 1500 wasnt that big a job. came with all the fittings and a full wiring diagram - i dont know anything about electrics but i wired it in myself and it worked first time - still amazed today LOL
