Is Channel 19 still the one monitored by riders in Western Canada and the Northwest US?

I find it my best source for information as it is the truckers channel. It has helped me out with road construction, gas stations, temperature, or just a friendly Heh!!

Down here in the states 19 is the trucker channel....Becareful after dark if you are sensitive or have women and or children listening....It can get kind of.....strong language:cooldevil:

Yes, 19 is the open road/trucker channel. Channel 1 is usually "local" traffic; local delivery drivers, local mototcycle group rides, etc. Ch 9, of course, is the emergency channel. often monitored by police.

here in Ireland we use channel 20 ,,,,for wings only ..
