On a 88 goldwwing does the CB radio have a light bulb inside so you can see what channel you are on at nite? I have just noticed that mine is dark and do not wont to take it apart just to find outitdoes not have a bulb.

Yes. My previous 1990 GL had the same problem. It was still not working when I gave it to my brother last year.

hi there has to be some light sorce in it but you could rig up an led bulb above it to light that area something like the photo

Ok I fixed the light in my CB radio. I removed the left pocket to see if there was a slim chance that you could get to the bulb, well you can't, I was not going to tear the bike apart to remove the CBfor a 50 cent light bulb, so I picked up my trusty 2 oz. hammer tapped the back of the CB while the switch was on and the light popped on.
