CD player/changer

I didn't put this in the for sale section because it isn't for sale. If anyone has a need for a working Honda OEM CD 6 disk player give drop me a PM. No charge except for postage or UPS. It's just the player, not the suspension hardware.

Paul, does that CD player come out easy ?? How much room did you pick up ?? I was thinking about taking mine out for the space..
It comes out easily but to get use of the space below it's necessary to do a little surgery on the framework that held it. I just cut most everything on the frame that didn't either connect to the plastic lid or hinges off. You'll need to remove the springs which is also easy other wise the metal part of the lid will bend once the extra metal is removed. There's room in the space for several pairs of gloves, a cap and scarf any some other odds and ends. It was worth doing for me. You can always get a Mp3 player that can be put in there or stuck to the side of the trunk that will allow the original CD controls on the dash to work properly.
Thanks, I'll have to take a closer look..
I've heard those Mp3 players are easy to work, and there's a plug in under the left pocket, but I don't have a clue how to work one or about where you get down loads..........
There are some available that are smaller than a pack of cigarettes and come with a plug that you just plug into the old CD player socket. Here's gadget you replace the CD player with.

Here's a video on installing a similar one:
