i have just finished restoring my 1991 gl1500

the only thing i am stumped on is the cd player,

i have power to my multi changer and dash display it showes play and changes disc

but i have no sound.when the radio is on and then switch the cd on the sound goes

low on the raido. can you help me.:?

What is the model of your CD player? Are you using a FM modulator for the connection?

HI THE CD PLAYER IS A KENWOOD, I WILL LOOK TO SEE IF IT HAS A FM MODULATOR

I think you have to have the radio on a certain FM channel, even if it has the inline modulator. I had a Kenwood CD changer in a car and it worked that way. The changer plugged into the antenna cable. If you don't have a manual, look it up on the Kenwood website and you can download a manual that will give you the channel. 88.7 comes to mind, but it was quite a while ago.
