I bought an '01 yesterday and it had a Kennedy Cell Phone interface in the trunk. I hooked it up tonight and it works great except for one small problem, there's no room under the left fairing pocket to mount the box as suggested on their website. ( http://www.cellset.com/65128R1.pdf ) My box is bigger than the one shown here, as it has hookups for 3 different makes of phones, so the box is about 4" x 4". Has anyone else run into this before and if so can can you give me any suggestions as to where to mount it? Thanks in advance for any help on this. LTH

The unit you have seems to be the older type. Steve Saunders has one of these and it's in the left pocket. He wedged it under the plastic air duct (not on top of the radiator) to keep it steady and stop it rattling about. When you refit the pocket the pocket also prevents the Cellset moving out towards the rad as well. Works very well there and is much steadier than just fitting it in the front of the fairing near the weather.
