Changing GL1500 rear brake caliper/pads

Nothing on the bikes are hard to do but time consuming , if you have bags remove the bag on the left side , if you look at the bracket that holds the pads should be two bolts to left up the holder you will need a long screwdriver or pry bar, to do this maybe you could email me at home i dont have the book for a 1500 but i have the 1100 and the 1000 and it is not that hard to do .

The how-to article is for a 1100 caliper but the 1500 is much the same. Should be able to do it from these instructions.

Manyt imes a rebuild is not needed. Be sure to clean the piston before pressing it in, be sure all slider pins are clean and lubed. Of course, that is probably in the links posted above.
