The How to Article, which is very good shows 3 screws you need to remove to get the lower fairing off. Mine is a SE and there is black molding there. Are they behind the black molding? I tried to get the molding off but am thinking I am going to break it. Do I pull the black molding straight off?

Thank you

Start but do not tighten screws all the way until required. It will fit together better with less squeaks and or rattles.

Well my friend, I hope you are up to the task of changing your timing belts.
If you require assistance please don't hesitate to ask. The link that tfwarner provided is the same one that I used and I encountered no difficulties.
