no it can be done with rad in.a little close quarters though.not that hard to pull rad.i would pull it and put new hoses on it .i dont rember the numbers but you can get belts and hose from napa.someone will be along that can give you the numbers.:waving::waving:

NAPA # 250274 are the belts listed in the tips....... I pulled the radiator on my 1200, just to get a better look at the "big picture" and I was gonna replace the SILICATE FREE anti-freeze any-how. I'm not sure if I could get the belt cover bolts out with the radiator in place..... maybe. Timing mark in the block window, and the pully marks up, along with the pully marks on the side of the block to be all in sync....... good luck, it's not to tough.
