does anybody know where i would look for the VIN or chasis number on a 1988 gl1500 as i have to get replacement ownership papers and i need to prove the bike is mine. any help would be appreciated. Eric
Right side of the headstock, looking down from the fairing. Easier if you pull out the black trim piece between pocket and console. You may be avle to read if from the ground looking up and using a torch.
