I have been using this for several years in my boat and on my motorcycles, and even in my deer hunting stands. I use it for my video camera and my regular camera when using the timer for self portraits!
All you need is a clamp, a 1/4" bolt and a wing nut.

That is clever. Questions: Does the clamp eat the handgrip rubber? Does the assembly swivel or drop out of position? Is the clamp metal or plastic, where did you get it?

It does not eat the rubber or move out of position. It is a sturdy plastic clamp with a strong spring in it. I bought it at Lowes several years ago.

You have saved me a lot of money. I was ready to order ram mounts myself.

Thanks!
