AWESOME! AWESOME!

I'm not sure Mr Honda ever invisioned someone doing that with a Goldwing. But it's great to know that he built it so you could.

Makes me a little nervous about riding the Dragon if NUTS like them are doing that on public roads.

Just the sound of the pegs scraping give me the willies!
That was the first thing I thought too. I hate the idea of scraping the pegs or floorboards if it can be helped. Of course I don't have sudicidal tendencies either, so I wouldn't be ridingso fast along the curves like that on that type of bike.:(

When I was young, I scrapped the pegs off a couple of Kawasakis. Thank God I survived being young.

My son and I watched it together and I had to explain the noise. Then he asked me not to ride my bike like that because he wants to keep the old man around for awhile.
I admire their riding skill but I thought the point of a Goldwing is to see some of the things that went blurring by.

Oh! To be young again!

ROTFLMAO!!!

I wonder how many of you guys watching this were tilting your head and leaning in your chair as you watched like I was!

After riding my 'Wing as much as I do, when I first get into a cage I find myself trying to "lean" into corners and curves, then laugh at myself once again.

Thats really something else! Is the tail bike a GL1500? It had trouble keeping up and didn't power out of the curves as fast as the first bike and also it didn't quite sound like a GL1800 engine.

I can appreciate skilled riders, but to ride like this on a public rode and not a track is asking for a accident. As soon as they find a corner with a little fine gravel/rock sediment, which they wont see, your toast, been there done this. The old FJ1200 and I survived though, and fortunately the road I was on had very little traffic.Good Luck though, I wish them well.

This guy is an idiot -- overtook another rider across double yellow, highly unsafe and illegal. Also, riding exactly opposite to correct -- accelerating into curve, then slowing, then speeding up after. One approaches the curve with a controlled line, then accelerate out of the apex for stability and control. i appreciate the cool perspective from camera, but this is a poor model for riding.

Accidents going someplace to happen. There's old riders and bold riders but few old bold riders.

Hobie

P.S. yes I tilted my head and the scraping noises made the hair stand up on my arms:shock:
