For those who have the bike well Chromed there is a new accessory from Kuryakyn to finish off the front of your bike. They have introduced a new Chrome Timing Chain Cover set which looks brilliant, complimenting the chrome Front Lower Cowl. It is very similar to the covers for the engine in thatit isheld on by adhesive pads which they state are designed for very high temperatures. It was the only bit left that you couldn't buy a chrome cover for and I fitted mine today. It looks great. Costs around £90.

I got one at the UK Treffen John. I'm still a bit dubious about the sticky pads but so far so good. There was a spare chrome nut in my packet (didn't notice until I got home) so if you know anyone who would like a nice bigchrome nut then let me know and I'll post it to you.

Steve my instructions were to replace the nut in the centre of the timing cover with this new Chrome one (which they describe as a Chrome cap) using the existing 'O' ring from the stock cap. Coat the 'O' ring with engine oil, grease the threads of the new cap and install to a torque of 12 ft/lbs.

John, what I should have said is that there were 2 chrome nuts in my pack, I've already fitted one of them and now have a spare as well as the original Honda one!

I wonder if the stick pads fail and the chrome thing falls off, how much damage it will do as it bounces under the bike and goes under the rear wheel!:shock:

My guess is that the Kury chrome will peel off before the sticky pads do!

Very good Heffo and you are probably right. The Kury chrome isn't all it's made out to be. I can't understand how they can't do the job as good as Honda do.
