i have read several posts about cleaning the remote radio/cb switches. do you disassemble the housing or just spray between the sides of the switch?

It is better to take them apart and clean them real good. Clean the contacts carefully with emery cloth then some dilectric grease and put back together.

Watch out for the little ball brg and spring.

If you use a commercial military grade of contact cleaner no dis-assembly is required. Spray lightly but spray a few times, let the liquid flow off and let the cleaner evaporate normally or use compressed air or cool spray to dissipate any materials.

If you must use dielectrics use very carefully . In the wrong hands will cause more problems than it solves.
