:shock:hi all its me (again),had a look at the clutch fluid looks discoloured compared to the brake fluid which is the same spec(dot 4),i do suspect (and hope) this may be my troubles with gearing down...i will get this bled out this week just got to have the time...many thanks all,bri,u.k.

Sounds like it's ready for a flush. Keep an eye on the fluid that comes out, a lot of particles could be saying the clutch hoses are up for replacement.

Clutch slave cylinders are very prone to gumming up with old fluid, onthese bikes, you may want to rebuild or at least clean it out.
