I've been working on a 1200 clutch lately and decided to make a new clutch holder to help in removing and installing the clutch nut. After removing the lifter plate I simply bolt the tool in its place. Insert a breaker bar and let it wedge against the floor or center stand and easily remove the clutch nut. Just do the same to reinstall and torque.
