I have a very light clutch grab when releseing the clutch. The 1800 wing has no trouble shifting etc. I have asked around and some think I should have the clutch system flushed and refilled with fresh fluili. How is this done?

Thanks AL

If it were in the clutch hydraulic system you would have trouble with the clutch not releasing, not engagement. The problem, if there is one may be in the oil pressure assisted engagement system. Kit Carson has experience with that, he will probably be responding soon.

I am not sure exactly what you might think is a problem? Light clutch?

In any event on the front of the motor directly under the left side of the timing cover you will see the clutch slave cylinder and the bleed fitting.

I use a speed bleeder and a section of tubing slipped over it for the waste, turn the handlebars to the right with the bike on the center stand, cover the bike with an old blanket or something (just in case of a spill of fluid) and simply keep the master cylinder full and pump it and fill it till it is completely changed. (DOT 4 brake fluid)
