I have the Clymer Service Manual for my 88 GL1500. I am confused because there are different models of GL1500's (California, 49States. I am tracing a possible problem with my fuel lines and see that the 48 States schematic does not show a Air Vent Control Valve (AVCV) and the California one does? In the replacement section it does not call out that it is only for the CA version? Does this mean I may be chasing a ghost problem? I am new to this and a ghost can blow my mind. Thanks for your help. See attached manual info
