Coming to work today............

When I bought the 1987 Goldwing back in February 2011, it had 24,000 miles on it. It turned over 30,000 as I was coming in to work today.

A couple weeks ago, I ordered an Antique plate for it.

I need to get out more! Actually, I average riding it 4 days to/from work which is only 14 miles a day.

I have ridden below freezing only one day, but try to ride if it is >39F or <100F. I know, I am a wimp. But putting on all that stuff and then taking it all off 15 minutes later just doesn't seem to be worth it.

Coldest I ever rode was when I had a 1983 GL1100 - 9F. That was back in 1985. Ride to work in those days was only 4 miles one way - down hill.

Miles will add up faster than you think. Enjoy the ride.:waving:

Yup the miles add up qicker than you think...Just be safe, and take some rides in that beautiful State of yours....I was amazed at the roads there, didn't ride on any "bad" roads the time we were there, and trust me they arenot all downhill.........

I got mine in March of 2011, I've only put about 7,000 miles on it. I ride it 5days a week (unless it's raining like it has been for 3 WEEKS! :whip:) and then I have a couple of one or two week breaks where I don't ride much. But my comute is about 10 miles each way, so 20 a day. It's kinda funny to me that folks that only ride recreationally put on more miles a year than someone who rides every day, but whatever, ridin's ridin'! :action:

I got mine on Oct 15th 2011. it had 76,142 miles on it then, now just a little over 93,000 on it. It is round trip to and from work 93.7 miles. I ride as long as there is no snow or ice on the roads.

Enjoy it man! The coldest I have rode was 28 that was on a Honda 750 Shadow with no faring just a windshield. I beleive with the fairing and stuff on my 1500 I can ride comfortably in a lot colder especially since the bike came with a heated jacket and heated gloves!!!! :):)

I've had my Wing since May of 2010 and have put just shy of 50000 miles on it. I'm trying to break the 100000 mile mark on speedo before the end of the year. Only 7000 miles to go. I just rolled up 93000 miles last week.
