Yes Tom, your son will be smiling. Especially as you have already put in the blood, sweat and tears, not to mention the $$$. :Xbut at least he gets a decent bike, instead of some high speed sports thing, which are uncomfortable, too quick, and you can't fit the kitchen sink on. . Funny how sons follow in their fathers footsteps, especially when dad's paying!!:baffled:. With two of my own and two that com with the girlfriend, I am due to be pennyless for a few years to come!!:X. But my eldest rides and we get a bit of bonding going out on rides, so that is a bonus.

Good luck with the new one and keep the keys hidden, otherwise you know what comes next........ !!

Well I never, there I was doling out sympathies to you Tommy RICH about handing the old bike over to your son etc.. etc. and then you go and spoil my day, by telling me you can afford to take a day off on a whim, and then go off to "the cottage" for the weekend!!

So there we have it lads, the explanation is in the name I guess ( Tommy RICH!!). He has every man's dream, 2 houses, a job that he can choose to attend or not, can afford to give Wings away and probably has a wife who is drop dead gorgeous to boot!! Now I for one am not envious, 'ccuz I am content with my 7 day a week job, the sons who spend all my money and my 1 small shack on an island where it rains most of the time!! I do have one thing though, a gorgeous girlfriend, oh and I can just afford to run the one wing.:grinner::grinner:

Now, if you will all excuse me, I have a bank to rob.

Only kidding, I hope yo have a wonderful weekend and the bike goes well for you.

well that figures, my g/friend keeps telling me "you must be joking!" In fact only today she said to me that I should be on the stage, then she told me the next one is leaving town in 10minutes.

I just like to bring a smile to folks faces, would NEVER wish to offend anyone, life is hard enough for many and a good laugh is often as good a tonic as anything else.

Failing making people laugh, I will at least make sure they get a good nights sleep!!
