is there a tutorial here to do a coolant pump repalacement?

i see coolant on the ground beneath the lower front cowl:eek::confused:


anything i should look out for? im getting the complete assembly from honda for 113.00 from my local honda dealer

The pump simply unbolts... pretty easy to remove and re-install. I doubt you have a bad pump though, as they don't wear out that often.

Before you do replace it, you should determine the Source of that leak... some common ones are:
-Crush washer to drain bolt, on coolent pump.
-Loose hose clamp from any of the hoses above it... Need to remove all the tupperware and one of the fans, to see it all.

imma check to see if the pump is leaking from the weep hole also

Another thing to check is that elbow on the overflow tank.
Agree with above - find leak before throwing parts at it. If the pump is good and you already bought it, put it on the shelf for down the road. You know the price will not go down in time anyway.
