Crash bar swap, GL1200 to GL1100?

Can anyone please tell me if 1986 GL1200 crash bars will fit 1982 GL1100. thank you

Nope....... frames are different. The 1200 went to a beefed up version over the 1100 frame.

Won't work, mount locations are different and won't line up.
