:waving::waving:Welcome to the Best Goldwing Site on the Internet, Ogre!:waving::waving:

You still have that damn donkey hanging around?

I think I'd check the top button, the resume/accelerate button to make sure there's not a short on that circuit.

Could also be a leakingvacuum valve that feeds the actuator, might not shut tight and comes open a bit with a bump.

Hi Exavid, Thanks for your input I have a feeling you may be right about the vaccuum leak. The accel/deccel button works quite well. I've played with it while riding down the road and both buttons have excellent response....my problem now is to locate the vaccuum actuator...I believe its on the shift side under the side cover??? Big round black thing? sorry, I do have a Clymer manual but it gives no details on the cruise control..just says take it to the dealer and get a 2nd mortgage.....thx Ogre
In my copy of Clymers 1500 1993-1995 there are several pages on trouble shooting and adjusting the cruise. They start on page 384.

Seems odd that the didn't cover it in the 92 issue since the cruise is the same.

Congratulations on your retirement. Here's hoping many more can do that.

Good for you John!:clapper::clapper:When I gave up the working life I was real worried that I'd go broke but that didn't happen. We had to live a bit lower on the hog but the lack of some goodies was well worth not having to live at someone else's beck and call. A lot of us can give up much of the stuff that's really not necessary in trade for getting back what's left of your life.
