Cruise Control is drifting

I've been having a small issue with my cruise control drifting on my '87 Aspencade. For instance, I can set the cruise for 60 mph, and within a few minutes I can see my speed begin to drop off 1 mph at a time. In fifteeen minutes I sometimes loose 3-4 mph. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, what tips can you give me to remedy problem?

If it is operated by a vacuum pot, the diaphram might be leaking or you could have a vacuum leak between the engine & your cruise diaphram.
