My cruise control quit working on a 2000 Asp ... wouldn't hold nor the lights wouldn't in gauge ... the cruise light and set light didn't come on briefly during the brief system check when the ignition switch was turned on... I have replaced both left and right switch pods (PIA) due to sticky switches and age ... I also have replaced both clutch switches and the brake cancel cruise switch ... and still do not have the brief system light check ... I have check power at the C66 female connector for both the cruise control lights and I have power there ... also I have continuity between the C66 and C33 and I have it ... I'm at wits end and asking for suggestions as to what I'm overlooking .... Thanks in advance for leading me through the pasture on this.

Not to be a quitter on troubleshooting but a throttle lock I bought for 15$ has been working just fine for me on my 93 Aspy. With all the things that could affect the smooth operation of cruise control,vi opted on a quick fix that works EVERY TIME

Since the lights won't work and seem to be good check for power at the white wire in the 16 pin grey connector under the left fairing pocket & the 20 pin white connector on the instrument panel.

Pretty sure it was a bike shop online....that was 6 years and 20000 miles ago...like a RevZilla or something. Simple thin clamp type set up with a flip up disengage lever. Real simple and nothing in the way...and you can easily override it either direction...wish I remembered... I'll look thru my receipts but I'm hobbled after surgery at the moment and my garage is bit of a walk

Will look at that... Thank you for taking the time to look... was thinking perhaps the Cruise module itself ... even tested each blub to make sure they work ... after a week of testing and tracing ... I have put the bike back together ... for now ... yes I have thrown in the towel for now ... but havent given up ... Just wanted to ride since the weather is good... had the itch... will get back with you my friend after I subside from the first go around of tracing and frustration
