anyone know radios? wanting a radio on my new to me valkyrie that i can hear on hiway.



so what am i looking for? 500 watt amplifier, 2- 150 watt unamplified speakers

this radio is good but the speakers, well, they're no good



can someone advise. i'm not cheap, just broke and working with very little:ROFL:

shark radio. 200 watt. pretty easy to isntall and my father in law seems to like his. he rides a 1600 vstar with v&h pipes. pretty loud bike. he can still hear his tunes without a problem. i wanna say we got it for him for around 100. good luck

Mark i have the motorcycle tunes (amp+speakers)on my intruder.cobra exh. with windsheild. i have it hooked up to an old kenwood brand (motorcycle radio with wired remote).and have no problems hearing at 70+ mph plenty loud.some of the folks i ride with say they could hear it from 200+ feet behind me...
