hearing no comments or suggestions, i purchased the Kruzer Kaddy KR500,
Cup Butler

Have a holder for all my bikes. I have three cups, one black for coffee, one white for water and a colored one for flavored drinks. Once coffee gets into the plastic, everything taste like coffee. The same thing for gatorade. It will make the water taste like gatorade but a soda doesnt get affected by gatorade.
Beware that the fold up type may not fit the 1500 very well!
I have the one that has the square bottom that folds up and the arms on top that look like a crab and folds down.
Tried to mount it and it hits my Choke lever! Also did not work well on other side either, I think was maybe in way of Cruise buttons or something.
I may use it on the 82 1100 or something later.
I had one of those Cruiser Caddys... but let me warn you, that swivel hoochiedoo doesn't work too well. I ended up having to add a washer and tighten the whole thing down. Otherwise I really liked mine. I used PVC pipe to mount mine with zip ties!

I had one of the Bike Bouys for a while. Anything over 12 ounces and it was top-heavy and tipped. Now I have zip-tied a standard black plastic cup holder to the bracket and it has worked great for more than 6 years- any size cup so far. And with no swivel it is easier to put the cup back in while looking at the road instead of the holder. And no, no spillage even with a full Starbucks 20oz cup.
I just got a couple of these, have not had a chance to use them yet

On the bike buoy... I cut part of the base out of mine. Left the one ring at the sides. My tapered cup slides in farther, curing the top heavy worries... I also tightened up the rivets to limit swing...
I use one of these Ram Mount ones, works great and also acts as a holder for sweets when I am not carrying drinks.

LOL, I'm cheap.

I went to Walmart and bought two bicycle cup holders, one for me and one for the passenger. They work great, look good, and cost me only $7.00 apiece.

I use this same one and love it!! I can easily move it anywhere I want with the ram mounts and I can clip my garage door opener to it and still have room for a drink. When I don't have a drink, it makes a great holder for my cell phone as I can see the phone with the opening in the cup holder running down the side and I can run the charging cord through the bottom of the cup holder. Very versatile cup holder.

Ah ha!! A man after my own heart John. I like Ram Mount stuff, they make good quality at reasonable prices, or at least as reasonable as it gets for Goldwing Farkles and we can buy the stuff over here easily. It all integrates on the Wings so easily and I now have two double ball mounts, one on either side which take all I need. Left side for camera and GPS and right side for phone holder and drinks container.
My drinks holder can also double up to dangle a simple little MP3 player into it and it is easy to hand to change tracks if I get one I don't care for. My GPS has the locking arm for the mount so I only need to detach the actual Zumo if I feel it is necessary and everything else is quickly detached and changed out if I want to.
So I have tried to contribute to the American economy above and beyond buying Goldwings. :)
Right you are Pete, Ram mounts are extremely versatile. I have one double ball mount and one single...... which might get changed to a double. I had a cup Butler or whatever you call them on my 1800 when I bought it and I stripped it out and use the small hinged portion to mount my GPS on. To me, those cup holder are huge and rather useless and ugly in my opinion. But it does mount the GPS pretty well........
Modified Bike Bouy

In order to combat the problem of being top heavy I modified my bike bouy to fit the larger drinks and taller water bottles...I lowered the center of gravity by making the swing longer....

THats a FANTASTIC idea!!!! :claps::claps:
I have one of these for the back seat of the 1800 but my wife always loses her soda or bottled water when it tips over while going down the road.

Im going to have to make this mod.... Thanks for posting it!!
