A fellow wants to trade ( plus cash) for a 95 Goldwing that I have for sale. His bike is licenced as a collector ( which means insurance is so cheap it's laughable) so it is in origional condition with around 30,000 miles on it. Assuming it's in good condition ( I'll take it to my local shop for a check over), would anyone hazzard a guess as to what it's value might be? Thanks, Rick

Need more info... Top Shelf C: $5k+.... but a excellent condition Cmodel will top $3.5k+. F model higher.
Good condition clean bikes that were maintained: $2.5k+
Good condition riders: $1.5k > $2.5k
Good running beaters: up to about $1.2k
Fair condition/Fair running: up to $1k

Be leery of anything that was modified for performance or street-racing, as many were abused. Check 2nd gear up-shift.
Very versatile bike. Tours well when set-up for it. Bullet-proof in maintained condition.
Lots ofsupport around for this model. Dedicated following.
I've lots invested in mine.

If you're an ebay member log-in and search "CB900" and select "completed listings" then sort by price, highest first. some results:
'82 ( $2000.)
'82 (buy it now $3000.)
'81 ( $1,128.53 )
'80 ( $900.)

It depends a lot on your neighborhood. Around here, you can't give away CB1100's or KZ1000's, but a running CB 900 will bring $3500. I saw a nice white one sell last summer for $7500.

A few years back I bought a 1980 CB900 Custom from a close friend for $1800.00. He had just had it gone through at the dealer. I also got a like bike with a bad motor for $400.00.
