Hi all my name is steve smith and I have a 1985 goldwing GL1200 Aspencade and I wish to replace the grips can anyone tell me how to do this please.

Pretty simple:
Go to your Honda dealer and get some new ones.
Cut the old ones off. (Be careful, the right one is on a plastic sleeve.)
Spray some hair spray into the new grips and slide them on.
Job done.

What's on it now ? OEM or foam or what?

I've had to Dremel through metal on some Kuryakyn grips I didn't like, …
… but the Foam ones I like, I can usually "work" off.
