The SEi I bought had a rectifier meltdown and battery boilover. The starter relay was damaged in the process. The bike starts, but I'd like to know if it's recommended that I replace the relay just in the interest of safety and reliability. Actually, I guess that question kind of answers itself. The relay has been resealed with silicone by the previous owner as a band-aid.
