Hey Guys!!! On the front wheel of my '82 between the rotor and the wheel mounting surface is an item the manual calls a dampner---No longeravailable from Honda. Can I make my own from gasket material or is there some place else I can get these?

The OEM parts shows the same part number all the way through 1986 (45128-445-630). It also calls it a shim. Don't know if it's metal or soft material. If it's soft material you could probably get some thick gasket material and make one or find a later model wheel. The part number on the wheel is one number different (82=44650-MG9-670)(84-87=44650-MG9-680)but don't know what the difference is. It shouldn't be too hard to find another front wheel that's in good shape. If you can't find one, let me know I have a good friend that has one off an 86SEI.
