Hey does anyone know if there is a higher wattage bulb I can put in the electronic dash on my 87 aspencade as the dash is kind of dim at night. All the bulbs are working.

I do not know about such a later model, but on my 1980 GL1100
and my 1983 Aspencade, mine are also dim, with all lights working. I went to Auto Zone and purchased a set of small colored lights that plug into your cigarette lighter and pointed them down to my dash. It was a big help.
Good Luck,

Not sure on your 83, butt the dash bulbs have little colored rubber covers over the bulbs as they get old they will darken up. You can remove them or buy new ones, I would replace the bulbs while you are behind the dash

I picked up some purple 12volt LEDs at a bike swap and replaced mine on my 83 worked out great and looked cool as well. The White on the dash almost glows like a black light is on

Generally replacing the lamps and more specifically replacing them with clear lamps will brighten everything up very nicely.

The lamps get silvered inside from the filaments over time and has been mentioned the colored covers get darkened as well.

The clear work fine and give you plenty of brightness.
