This forum certainly deals with many questions regarding carburetors. While reading the posts many times there are different answers regarding specifications of the model in question. It is at times confusing as to who is giving the correct information.

Jets and float levels are critical for a well running engine. I have read the metric jet manufacturers will even differ on the same size jet number. So a metric 60 jet will vary with its sizing as to who makes it.

It would certainly be a benefit to all members if there was a database for carb specs. I know its over my head to compile all this, but it would be a terrific asset.

Anybody else with some thoughts on this?

That is the problem. Clymer, Honda and Randakk it seems differ at times.

One source would be good.
