Thanks Dannie

I once bought a '74 VW Type 4 with 10+ year old Continental tires on it. Had plenty of tread on the front tires since the front end of the car weighed nothing. But they wound up splitting up the tread from dry rot.

Quite comical. The PO had 12 cinder blocks in the trunk (up front) since the front end wandered on the road in cross winds.

Wished I still had that car, but some old broad in a Cadillac decided to broadside me on an icy road.

If you are running tires that old (13 years) you might want to consider replacements.

I just bought this bike and knew I was going to have to replace the front but the rear looked good but a 13 year old tire I will not be riding on.
