I broke the airline on the front fork of my 83 interstate today. The local dealer says it will be 3-5 days in getting the part. I cannot afford to wait that long as I am leaving on vacation (riding bike) in 5 days. Anyone know a dealer or other resource that may be able to overnight my part? I have been checking here and with eBay.

Check local Brake and hydraulic shopsto see if someone can make you one. Depends on what is broke, they can use your old connection ends.

Any chance you have Progressive Springs? If so just cap the air inlets so you don't lose oil and run without air.

I just ordered progressive springs from Dennis Kirk. I called another dealer and he informed me that the air line is no longer available. A 3rd call to ANOTHER dealer confirmed what 2nd dealer told me. Thanks for the responses! I will be airless on Tuesday..

I don't run any air in my forks on my 1200....... don't know if it would matter on yours.

I installed Progressives on mine last year and threw that little hose away...no longer necessary! I don't need to run air in the front forks any longer with the new springs.
