Ihad about three of them on my last Harley, but even they couldn't keep stuff from falling off (Including one of the Bells!)or breaking, but they have been good on the Wings.:claps::claps::claps:BTW, I plan on having a few extra Bells with me at the 7th Annual Mid-Western Meet and Greet in Eureka Springs during the Labor Day weekend, so if your there, without a bell, andI notice it, you might get lucky!

All 3 bells are spoken for, none left.

Ironically, all 3 that I have ordered are going to people in NC, and I live in NC....... We all must feel that we have the worst luck driving in NC.........

My brothers in-laws are from King. Last name Essick I think.

My "pile of parts" came with some interesting accessories, including a gonad key ring, a mud flap with a nude silhouette (wife attempted to remove the naked lady...) and a cow bell that hung from the trailer hitch.

After he turning the pile of parts into a motorcycle, the mechanic took it on a 500 mile test ride during which the bell disappeared. Although my bike has been blessed, there is no longer any insurance against gremlins.

Not familiar with that name. We have been here for about 12 years and we love King. It's like living in the 60's..... (again). Everyone is friendly and waves and heaven helps one of my kids when they were growing up if they did something wrong because the neighbors kept a close eye on them also, a great place to raise a family. And now that most of the kids are grown up and gone, it's a great place to ride a Wing!

I don't have one yet for my bike, but I plan on picking up a few to give out (one going to a friend of mine who rides a Harley). Probably next pay check. On a side note, since I don't have one on the bike, over the last year I've had her stuck in sand, stuck on a ramp trying to get her in the back of my pickup, ran into a small hole on the side of the road, and even laid her on her side in my driveway. All in all, I would say I've been fairly lucky.

I got deer whistles.......

On my short journeys, I have seen deer on 2 occasions, the first time the deer was already in the road, it looked up and dashed off as I approached about 150 yards away. May have done this anyways. But today, there were 2 deer running into the road, just as arrived at the location that they were coming out, they turned quickly and went back into the woods. I truly suspect the whistled did what they were to do, these deer were running wide open, and to come to a dead stop and retreat is something I have never seen.

And I have no bell for Gremlin protection......

No offense intended, but this all sounds "stupidstitious" to me.

Selling gremlin bells seems like a good business to be in . Where I can buy a case full???

I wonder if dyna-beads in the tires work like rosary beads hung around a rear view mirror to scare off evil road spirits, resulting in a smooth ride ...

My Bell =

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the
paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death; I will fear no evil: for thou
art with me; thy rod and thy staff they
comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies: thou anointest
my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life; and I will dwell in the
house of the Lord for ever.

psalm 23 - bible - psalm of david

Just sayin...

Anyone out there still need a bell from a friend? I've got a couple that I would be happy to send out. I usually carry a few in my trunk for that unexpected meeting where a gift might be in order.

On a side-note to this discussion, how do you fasten your bell to your bike? I have one that was gifted to me (by my wife) but I haven't attached it yet since I don't want to lose it. I thought about using multiple cable ties (in case one breaks) but they don't look very snazzy.

Suggestions/comments?

Mine came with a little leather cord. I think I will put a piece of safety wire on it also. That leather will eventually wear through.
