Yup, indeedy! We're kind of having a "unseasonable season!"

And why don't you have a KLR? Anybody can.....140 a month and change!

When I was in Texas back when the earth cooled (Ft. Wolters, Mineral Wells, 1964), there were plenty of places to ride....but no offroad bikes! That big hill climb out at "Pete and Suzi's" on the Brazos was as close as it got..... Harley flatheads, Indians, and a BSA or two....... wild scene! Gotta be lots of places to ride in Texas........love Texas, me....

UBarW....... only mine is a KLR, the one with soft bags. Fred's bike, with the aluminum boxes, is a Suzuki DR650. Both of us are running Avon Gripsters on the rear, and Fred is running the Gripster on his front wheel..... I have a Dunlop on the front. We are both planning on running the Gripsters from now on, best compromise for gravel road "driveability" and long-wear...... good tire.......
