It's on an 18" wheel, apparently all in good condition, wheel, tire, rotors, bearings and all, my friend wants it for his '83 and asked me if I could verify it for him, I've got an '82 and they are not like mine. I'd appreciate your help before my buddy throws down a $100 on it, thanks guys. :waving:

i`ll jump in and say that the above is correct . but those disksare for a standard or interstate models .

The std and interstate had solid rotors, aspy had vented like GM rotors

I thought the brakes where maybe from a CB750 because I hadn't seen them on a Goldwing, sorry gentlemen but I have learned to trust NOT what ebay listings say, you guys I trust! I do know though that a lot of parts where GL/CB interchangable then, that it's the reason my back brake works today. To me it was the Loudon NH oval shaped slots cut in them that gave it away.

My next question is then?



Does anyone have 5mm widerotors/discs on the front of their '83? with a stamped minimum of 4mm?

Any Standard or Interstate has 5mm thick rotors, except the Aspencade with 10mm vented rotors. Service limit is 4mm and 9mm respectively.
