I got this picture here somewhere, and cant find the owner today. Looks just likeFinn. How you think his mat and him are tied on. Theres no way he'd sit still without being tied down, and I'd feel better also.

it looks like the dog is sitting in a duffle bag. It must be attacked somehow but if the dog loves to ride, he'd probably sit for quite awhile.

That photo is from Vic Belanger-- Goldwinger1984. Sadly his dog Angie has passed away but he enjoyed a good few years riding with her and his wife.

Looks to me like Angie was riding in an opened Tank Bag.

Here's a picture of Oreo in the seat I told you about in the PM.

Here's a link to the seat. Probably won't do you any good if you want him in front of you though.

It's a Hartco seat. My butt likes it better but the really big change was my knees. It was built for my height & weight and put my knees at a better angle. Makes a big difference.

I don't know about this dog but some years ago a friend of mine used to take his Minny poodle on his bike ..he had a patch of heavy shag carpet securely fastened to the gas tank and the little guy just layed on it and he was not tied on in any way ...in turns that little guy had a great grip... and loved every second of the ride

It's easier on a car, just strap him to the roof. Just don't let anyone eat him.

:ROFL:Nice one!

Don't put him on the bike at all; get a longish length of elastic shock cord, tie one end to a crash bar and other to his collar.....let him run alongside......

This works best on dogs that are kind of speedy.... but it's hell on dachsunds and chiwawaus (sp?). Might go through quite a few of those kinds of dogs.......

(I'll get my coat.....)

We had a couple camped next to us that carried their dog in a carrier like this.

With this thread we should be sure to gain a few new members. Too bad they will all be from PETA.

Why, don't they think dogs have a right to ride too? ;)

If they show up we can just show them this picture to get them distracted. :D
