I got a back rest for my bike and was wondering if anyone has put one on their bikes and could give me some advice/ instructions

I looked at the install instructions for days, before I got up enough nerve to cut thru the upholstery with a knife, but I never regretted it once after the install.

Mine was a Utopia brand, I liked it because it will fold down forwards flat so my legs can swing over it easy, and a passenger can get on first easy also, if need be.
